I appreciate your note so much, Lakitha! Funny story--when I was doing research for my book on Anna May Wong, I found my way to the Irvin Paik Papers at USC. Paik was a Korean American who worked in television in the 1970s. In his files, he had one folder labeled something like "Bigots" - and the first item in the folder was an interview with John Wayne in Playboy magazine.
